Chuck Stanley

b. Chuck Stanley, New York, U.S.A.

Signed to the New York-based Def Jam Records (via CBS), Chuck made his debut in 1987 with 'The Finer Things In Life'.

The album included the duet with Alyson Williams entitled 'Make You Mine Tonight' along with the fine ballad 'Never Gonna Let You Go' (popular in the U.K.).

That song was recorded after Chuck had heard a singer in a subway in Manhattan singing the tune.

He asked the singer if he could record the melody, which the singer agreed and Chuck asked him to contact Def Jam Records to confirm.

In 1989 he teamed up with Alyson Williams again for 'I'm So Glad' on her album 'Raw' (1989).

They are both good friends.

In 2002, Chuck is looking to record some new material, including an update of 'Never Gonna Let You Go'.

Chuck is, also, currently singing with the daughter of Joshie Jo Armstead, Shandra.
