The Flamingos were an R & B vocal group, formed, in 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.

The Flamingos were a doo wop group, popular in the mid to late 1950's.
They were best known for their 1959 cover version of 'I Only Have Eyes for You'.
They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
Tommy Hunt died on the 12th of February 2025, at the age of 91.
His family posted:
In a statement released by his family via social media, they confirmed his death on Wednesday (12th of February) describing him as the “most loveliest and kindest man”.
They said:
'It is with deep sadness that we post on the evening of 12th February, Tommy has passed away peacefully in his sleep. The only regret he would of had was he wasn’t at his own home but circumstances wouldn’t allow him to be'.
