Paul Burnett (b. Jesse P. Burnett Jnr., 28th July 1943, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A. d. 23rd March 2001, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.)

Earl Christian (b. 1940, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A. d. 1960's, U.S.A.)

and

Tommy A. Eldridge (b. Thomas A. Eldridge, 23rd October 1940, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A. d. 19th June 2000, Richmond, Virginia, U.S.A.)

The Jarmels are an American doo wop group formed in 1959 in Richmond, Virginia.

Known for their pop and rhythm and blues sound.

'A Little Bit Of Soap' b/w 'The Way You Look Tonight (Swing Time)' - 1961 / 'Little Lonely One' b/w 'She Loves To Dance' - 1961

The Jarmels first single was, 'Little Lonely One'.

This was followed by 'A Little Bit Of Soap', which became a number 12 single in 1961.

This was followed by 'Come On Girl' in 1963.

Paul Burnett served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

The group disbanded in 1969.
