Buzzy Willis (baritone)

Pat Gaston (ex-Crows - bass)

Monteith Owens (tenor/guitarist) (b. 1937, U.S.A. d. 3rd March 2011, The Bronx, New York, U.S.A.)

Alvin Bobby Baylor (ex-the Mellomoods - baritone) (b. 27th October 1935, Harlem, New York, U.S.A. d. 4th January 1989, Harlem, New York, U.S.A.)

and

Bobby Williams - (first tenor/pianist) (d. 1961, U.S.A.)

The Solitaires were an American doo wop group formed in 1953.

'You've Sinned' b/w'The Angels Sang' - 1956 / 'Walking Along' b/w 'Please Kiss This Letter' - 1957

They are best remembered for their 1957 hit single, ‘Walking Along’.

The Solitaires have toured since 1961, and are still performing to this date.

Monte Owens died in 2011 in New York, following an illness. He was 74.
