and

Devox were the brainchild of Gerry Devaux, who is the brother of pop star Lenny Kravitz.
Gerry recruited Angie Stone (ex Sequence and Vertical Hold lead singer) and Charlie Mole.
The band recorded one album for Toshiba EMI in Japan in 1996, licensed through Bahama Rhythm Music Ltd / Devox Ltd.
Featured artists on the album were Mantronix, Wah Wah Watson, Donald Robinson and Lenny Kravitz.
The album featured the tracks 'Seems You're Just Too Busy' (originally recorded by Vertical Hold), 'Life Story' (later to appear on Angie's 'Black Diamond' album) and 'Let It Go' (previously recorded by Maysa Leak).
Gerry recorded as a solo artist, collaborating with Janita, and Vanessa Paradis additionally.
Several of the tracks from the Devox album made their way onto a compilation release on the U.K. based Expansion Record label entitled 'Soul Degrees-The Songs And Music Of Gerry Devaux'.
The compilation was later withdrawn due to copyright issues relating to Angie Stone and her following solo career.
